How to add a downloadable file

In this article, you will learn how to add a downloadable file to a page.

To get started, you will need the following:

• a systeme.io account
• a page in edit mode

Adding text

In the page editor, drag the "Text" element from the panel on the left and drop it onto your page.

Creating a file download link

Select the text and click on the link icon.

Click on the "Link" icon that appears, and click the arrow-shaped icon to upload your file.

Choose your file by clicking on the "Select file" button.

fter the file has been uploaded, select it in the file browser and click on the "Insert" button.

After inserting the file, click the Confirm button to save the file. (number 1 in the image)

Testing the file download

To test that the file downloads correctly, click on the "Save" button at the top of the page editor (number 2 in the image), then click on the "Preview" icon. (number 3 in the image)

In the page preview tab that opens, click on the clickable text to download your file.
