How to create a subaccount on systeme.io

Effectively managing multiple projects or clients on the same platform can quickly become complex. Fortunately, systeme.io offers a key feature: subaccounts. They allow you to organize your activities, compartmentalize data, and delegate access, all while maintaining centralized management. To fully leverage this tool, let’s explore in this article how to create a subaccount on systeme.io.

IMPORTANT: Resource limits apply separately for the main account and each subaccount.

For example, if your subscription allows you to create 10 sales funnels, you can create 10 on the main account and 10 on each subaccount.

This also applies to other resources such as courses, contacts, emails, tags, etc.

FAQ :

  • Question 1 : Is it possible to grant access to a subaccount to an assistant (or a customer)?
  • Answer 1 : Yes, you can add an assistant to the workspace of a subaccount so that they can access it and collaborate with you.

This assistant can be a member of your team, an external provider, or even a customer if you wish to give them direct access to their dedicated space.

Steps to invite a collaborator to a subaccount:

  1. Log in to your subaccount: From your main account, go to “Subaccounts” then click on “Log in to subaccount” next to the relevant subaccount.
  2. Access the workspace settings of the subaccount: Once in the subaccount, go to "Settings", and then to the section "Workspace Members".
  3. Invite your assistant: Click on “Invite new assistant”, enter their email address, and then select the desired access level: simple assistant or administrator.
  4. Validate the invitation: The collaborator will receive an email containing an invitation link to access the subaccount.

  • Question 2 : Is it possible to access a subaccount without going through the main account?
  • Answer 2 : No, subaccounts do not have their own login details (distinct identifiers or passwords). They can only be accessed via the main account that created them, or by inviting collaborators as assistants to your subaccounts.

  • Question 3 : Does each subaccount have its own data (funnels, emails, contacts, etc.)?
  • Answer 3 : Yes, each subaccount operates as an independent workspace and has its own: sales funnels, contact lists, email campaigns, courses, automations, products, etc.

This allows for effective separation of your projects or clients, with no risk of mixing data between different subaccounts.

  • Question 4 : Is there a limit to the number of subaccounts allowed on our plans?
  • Answer 4 : No, there is no limit. You can create an unlimited number of subaccounts, whether you have a free or paid account.

  • Question 5 : Is it possible to share content between a main account and its subaccounts (or between subaccounts)?
  • Answer 5 : Yes, it is entirely possible to share content from one account or subaccount to another using the sharing option provided by Systeme.io.

You can share various elements, such as sales funnels, newsletters, email campaigns, courses, and custom blocks.
