How to create digital stores
In this article, you will learn how to create an online store on systeme.io
Go to the "Sites" tab (number 1 in the image), then click on "Digital store". (number 2 in the image)
Click on "Create" to create your digital store. (number 3 in the image)
A popup will appear where you need to enter the name, domain, URL path, and choose the language, then click on "Save" to complete the new digital store creation. (number 4 in the image)
Afterward, you will see the overall preview of your store, along with settings that you can modify to personalize its content.
You can click on "Edit header" to modify the header of your online store. (number 5 in the image)
In the header, you can edit the store image, name, bio, and add links to your social networks. Finally, to save the changes, you just need to click on "Save". (number 6 in the image)
You can change the design by clicking on "Edit design" at the homepage of your store. (number 7 in the image)
Different templates will appear, you can select the template that suits you, change the display colors, the heading font and the body fonts of it, and then save by clicking on "Apply theme".
You can add a section to your store by clicking on "Add section". (number 8 in the image)
A popup will appear, where you need to give a title to your section, then click on "Add section" to save. (number 9 in the image)
How to create products:
To create a product, you need to click on "Add new product". (number 10 in the image)
You have the option to create different products:
- Redirect to an external link
- Collect emails
- Sell a digital download
- Sell a course
Redirecting to an external link:
You just need to add a thumbnail image, the title, the button, the subtitle, and paste the redirect link of the button.
Finally, you need to click on "Publish" for it to be published in your store and be visible. (number 11 in the image)
Collecting emails:
Three tabs need to be configured:
1. Thumbnail: on which you must select the thumbnail image you want to have, as well as modify the title, button, subtitle, and add the fields you want to collect information from those who sign up.
By default, the available fields are "Email" and "First Name," you can make the "First Name" field mandatory by enabling the "Required" button.
You can also add other fields by clicking on "Add field".
You can save your changes by clicking on "Save as draft" (number 12 in the image), or, click on "Next" to save and proceed to the second tab. (number 13 in the image)
2. Thank you page: you must add a title, as well as a subtitle, that will be displayed after a contact fills out your form.
Finally, you need to click on "Publish" for your email collection product to be visible in your store. (number 14 in the image)
3. Options: you can add an automation rule to your product once it is saved as a draft or published.
Click on "Add rule". (number 15 in the image)
In the popup window that appears, choose "Digital store form subscribed", select an action to be triggered after a lead has subscribed through your digital store "Collect emails" section and click on "Save rule". (number 16 in the image)
Selling a digital download:
Four tabs need to be configured:
1. Thumbnail: You must select the thumbnail image you want to have, as well as modify the title, button, and subtitle.
Then, you need to click on "Next" to save and proceed to the second tab. (number 17 in the image)
2. Digital download: give a title to your digital product, upload it, and edit a confirmation email that will be automatically sent to your customers after payment.
You need to click on "Next" to save and proceed to the fourth tab. (number 18 in the image)
3. Checkout page (payment page): Add an image for your product, as well as text that will include the title, the button, and the description.
You must then add the payment form fields to collect the information you want, the email and first name are included by default, you can add others by clicking on "Add field."
Then, create a price plan for your offer by clicking on the " + " icon and add your payment gateways by clicking on "Set payment methods."
You need to click on "Next" to save and proceed to the third tab. (number 19 in the image)
4. Thank you page: you need to add a title, as well as a subtitle, that will display after the customer confirms their purchase.
Finally, you must click on "Publish" so that your product for sale is visible in your store. (number 20 in the image)
Selling a course:
Five tabs need to be configured:
1. Thumbnail: You need to select the thumbnail image you want to use, and also edit the title, button, and subtitle.
Then, click on "Next" to save your changes and proceed to the second tab. (number 21 in the image)
2. Course: Next, you can choose between a simplified course or a classic course, depending on your needs.
Click "Next" to save your changes and proceed to the third tab. (number 22 in the image)
3. Checkout page (Payment Page): Add an image for your product, as well as text that includes the title, a button, and a description.
You must then add the payment form fields to collect the information you want, the email and first name are included by default, you can add others by clicking on "Add field".
Then, create a price plan for your offer by clicking on the " + " icon and add your payment gateways by clicking on "Set payment methods."
To save and move to the next tab, click "Next". (number 23 in the image)
4. Thank you page: You need to add a title and a subtitle that will be displayed after the customer completes their purchase.
Finally, click "Publish" to make your product visible in your store. (number 24 in the image)
5. Options: In this section, you can access the settings of the selected course, as well as edit the confirmation email that will be sent to customers who purchase your course.
To view the final rendering of your store, simply click on "View". (number 25 in the image)
Once you have published your digital products, you can configure SEO settings for your digital store.
To access the SEO section, click on "Settings". (number 26 in the image)
In the base settings page, navigate to the SEO section. (number 27 in the image)
You can add:
- Title.
- Description.
- Keywords.
- The author of your digital store.
- Select a social media image.
- Add tracking codes.
- Hiding your store from the search engines.
Finally, to save the changes, you just need to click on "Save". (number 28 in the image)
In the settings page, you can also:
- Select the domain for your store
- Customize the URL path
- Change the currency and language of your digital store
- Select the accepted payment options
- Disable the affiliate badge to earn lifetime commissions
Notes:
- It is possible to deactivate a digital store. Click on the relevant digital store, then click on the 3 dot menu and select "Deactivate".
- It is not yet possible to modify the URL path of products listed on a digital store.
