How to schedule a newsletter

In this article, you will learn how to schedule the sending of a newsletter.

You will need :

Creating a newsletter

On the navigation bar at the top, click on "Emails", then on "Newsletters" (number 1 in the image), and finally on "Create". (number 2 in the image)

In the popup that appears, provide the following details about the newsletter:

  • Subject
  • Sender name
  • Sender email address
  • Which editor mode to use

Editor modes

When creating a newsletter, you can choose between the following editors:

  • Classic editor - to write a simple email
  • Visual editor - to write an email with more advanced style and layout options

Note: Although you can switch between editors at any time, you will lose all the progress made in the current editor.

Working with the classic editor

In the editor, you can modify the information you provided in the previous step.

Email settings

In the "Email settings" section, you can:

  • Add an attachment
  • Limit the contacts who should receive the email according to how long ago they registered. For example, you can choose to send the newsletter only to contacts who have been registered for 1 month or more. Using this criterion, contacts who registered afterward will not receive the email, even if the tag you have selected has been assigned to them)
  • Select contacts by tag

Note: To receive the newsletter, contacts should already have been assigned the tags you select in the newsletter editor.

Including a contact's details in the email

To personalize the email, you can use special codes to include details such as a contact's name, email, etc...These will be automatically replaced by the contact's actual details when the email is generated and sent.

Note: It is possible to make these variables clickable by selecting the link anchor (the text), then clicking on "Create a link" (in the editor toolbar), and finally pasting the variable into the URL field.

Saving, sending, and scheduling your newsletter

Once the newsletter is completed and configured, you can:

  1. Save and test - to save your newsletter and receive a test email
  2. Save and send - to save and immediately send your newsletter
  3. Save and schedule - to save and schedule your newsletter to be sent on a specific date

  1. Save draft - to save your newsletter.
  2. Create an A/B test: to create an A/B test for your newsletter
  3. Exit - to exit your newsletter

Note: To receive test emails, first confirm your receiving email address as described here.

Working with the visual editor

The visual editor is similar to the funnel page editor. From the panel on the left, you can drag various elements onto the page (buttons, images, text) and structure your layout using sections and columns.

Click on any element on the page to display its settings in the panel on the left. These could include:

  • Font size
  • Background color
  • Content background color
  • Link color
  • And more...

You can also increase or decrease the width of your content area.

By clicking on the "mobile phone" icon, you can see what your newsletter would look like from a mobile device and make any necessary adjustments for mobile layout.

After you have finished designing your newsletter, save the changes, then click "Exit" and go to the next step.
