How to trigger automation rules when a customer buys your order bump

In this article, you will learn how to trigger automation rules when a customer buys an order bump.

What you will need :

• a systeme.io account
• a payment page (How to create a payment page)
• an order bump (How to add an order bump on the payment page)

To automate the triggering of several automation rules after a customer purchases your order bump on the payment page, you need to proceed in 3 essential steps:

1. Create a specific tag (How to create a tag). Example: Order bump (number 1 in the image).

2. Go to your order bump on the payment page, then click on “Edit digital product”.

Add the "Order-bump" tag you created in the "Resources" section of the order bump on the payment page. (number 2 in the image)

3. Create an automation rule by going to the automation section on the menu, then to "Rules". (number 3 in the image)

Select "Tag added" as the trigger. (number 4 in the image)

Then, select one of the following actions you want to automate after a customer buys your order bump:
