How to use the email editor

On this page, you'll learn how to use the email editor to write newsletters, campaign emails, and automation rule emails.


Creating a newsletter:


To create a newsletter:

  1. Click on "Emails" in the top menu bar.
  2. Select "Newsletters". (number 1 in the image)
  3. Click on "Create". (number 2 in the image)



In the popup window, fill in the following fields:

  • Subject of the newsletter
  • Sender name
  • Sender email address
  • Choose the type of editor (Visual or Classic)




A. How to use the visual editor:


Please note that the visual editor is only available for newsletters and campaigns.


  • Select Visual Editor and choose a template.
  • Click "Save".

In the visual editor, you can:

  • Access editor settings
  • Drag and drop content elements
  • Add layout elements
  • Switch between desktop and mobile views


After editing your email:

  • Click "Save Changes".
  • Then click "Exit".



You will be taken to a configuration page where you can:

  1. Insert the subject of your email
  2. Add a preview line (optional)
  3. Insert your sender name
  4. Insert your sender email address, the one you wish to send the email from
  5. Add attachments to the newsletter
  6. Send the newsletter to contacts who registered over a certain period


  1. Send the newsletter to contacts who have been assigned a specific tag.
  2. Do not send the newsletter to contacts who have been assigned a specific tag.
  3. Select the available substitute variables you want to add to your newsletter.



Once your newsletter is ready, you can:


  • Save draft: Save your progress.


  • Save and test: Save the newsletter and receive a test email.
  • Save and send: Save and send the newsletter immediately.
  • Save and schedule: Save and schedule the newsletter for a specific date.
  • Exit: Exit the newsletter.

B. How to use the classic email editor:


To use the Classic Editor:

  1. Choose Classic Editor during newsletter creation.
  2. Click "Save".


Within the Classic Editor, you'll find traditional editing tools to write your email content.


After composing your message, you'll be able to:

  1. Insert the subject of your email
  2. Add a preview line (optional)
  3. Insert your sender name
  4. Insert your sender email address, the one you wish to send the email from
  5. Add attachments to the newsletter
  6. Send the newsletter to contacts who registered over a certain period


  1. Send the newsletter to contacts who have been assigned a specific tag.
  2. Do not send the newsletter to contacts who have been assigned a specific tag.
  3. Select the available substitute variables you want to add to your newsletter.

Note: The Visual Editor is also available for email campaigns. However, for automation rule emails, only the classic editor is available.
